Women often illustrate objects from more than one perspective in the
same design. The pod, although shown from the side, reveals the seeds
as hay would be seen through the split in he top. Yokes made from plaid
fabric were popular in the 1920's. Collected in 1922 and presented by
Lady Richmond Brown and F.A. Mitchell Hedges.
