Quilled Horse Mask

What is the quilled horse mask? How is it made? This quilled horse mask was used mostly for parades with people who had on their finest regalia. The quills are from porcupines. They are made with many different colors and are considered sacred. The people would pick out the quills, flatten them, and wrap them around the material they used.
