Lakota Miniature Tipi

Modern kids today have toys with a lot of technology involved in them. Back in the 1800's the children used to play with simple toys like this mini tipi. You could say it is just like a Barbie house, but the difference is that the mini tipi really was someone's house, and it was made of real materials. This little mini tipi was played with in the 19th century. On the tipi a battle is represented (see hot spots). The bear and the man represent some kind of ritual activity. The poles on the top of the tipi let smoke out of the tipi. Don't you wish that you had this kind of toy to play with!
